We provide comprehensive financial planning and investment management services designed to grow, protect, and transfer wealth. This often includes retirement planning, tax strategies, estate planning, business succession, and risk management. Our process is known as The Wealth Curve™ Journey.
Our clients are often business owners, executives, professionals, and families with complex financial needs who are looking for tailored strategies to preserve and grow their wealth.
Smallwood Wealth is a New Jersey-based firm servicing clients nationwide.
Financial advising often focuses on specific investment products, while wealth management takes a holistic approach, integrating tax, estate, investment, insurance, and cash-flow planning into a single strategy.
Only if you prefer! We often meet with clients in person, on the phone, or over Zoom calls. We can accommodate your preference, schedule, and needs.
We have a staff of 17 and growing. You will be assigned a primary advisor and, potentially, a supporting advisor who will guide you through your journey. We also have dedicated staff to support your insurance, annuity, and investment accounts.
We start with a deep discovery process called The Wealth Curve™ to understand your goals, time horizon, risk tolerance, and financial priorities. From there, we design a diversified strategy that aligns with your long-term objectives and adjusts it over time as your life and markets evolve.
We focus on disciplined, evidence-based strategies that balance growth opportunities with risk management. The goal is not just short-term returns, but sustainable, long-term wealth creation.
Yes. Retirement planning is a cornerstone of our process. We design strategies to ensure financial security throughout your retirement years, considering income needs, healthcare, inflation, and legacy goals.
Our fees are clear and straightforward. Based on the complexity of your plan, we charge a one-time planning fee and a quarterly fee based on assets under management.
Should you choose to move forward with implementation, we’re happy to represent you in working with financial institutions. Any associated fees or commissions will be fully disclosed.
Many wealth management firms set minimums for assets under management (often $500,000–$1 million). However, we also offer planning services for clients building toward that level of wealth.
Yes. While we don’t prepare tax returns or legal documents ourselves, we coordinate closely with CPAs and attorneys to integrate tax efficiency and estate planning into your overall wealth strategy.
